is an IPS TAG?
The IPS tag only applies to UK Domain names,
such as .co.uk and .org.uk.
The tag is used to identify the company responsible
for the UK domain.
If you wish to change domain providers you would
need to change the IPS Tag.
In order to change the IPS Tag you would need
to contact the company where you have your domain
name registered or Nominet.org.uk
and ask them to change the IPS TAG to the TAG
of your new provider.

company where you registered the domain name,
ask them to change the IPS tag of your domain
name to TUCOWS-CA
- If the company you
registered your domain name with is not responding
to you or has stopped trading contact Nominet.org.uk
and request it to them.

- You can check if the
IPS tag has changed by doing a WHOIS
