Pickaweb’s Acceptable Usage Policy consists of the following:

Sending unsolicited and/or bulk e-mails over the internet.
This Policy is not only due to the
negative effects of such activity,
but to the harmful effect it can
have on Pickaweb’s infrastructure
and that of our suppliers. If a
complaint is received, Pickaweb
has the right to determine whether
the recipient was part of an opt-in
e-mail list.

Intellectual Property Violations
Engaging in any activity which violates or infringes the intellectual
copyright of any individual, organisation
or other entity. This includes,
but is not limited to Trademarks,
Copyrights and Patents.

Adult Material
Pickaweb does not permit websites which contain frontal nudity
of men or women.
Pickaweb does not permit websites which derive their revenue
in part or in total from adult content
(this includes the selling, marketing,
advertising or displaying of any
product related to adult content)
Pickaweb does not permit websites which include revenue generating
hyperlinks to any websites which
derive their revenue in part or
in total from adult content

CGI
The use of CGI programs which use excessive amounts of system
resources and which results in degraded
server performance. Pickaweb shall
be the sole arbitor of what constitutes
degraded server performance. Examples
of such CGI programs include but
are not limited to chat rooms and
bulletin boards.

Defamatory or Abusive Language
Using the Service to transmit or post defamatory, harassing,
abusive or threatening language
or literature.

Forging of Headers
The use of e-mail headers which mislead, misrepresent, hide
or mask the true originator of the
message.
·
Illegal or Unauthorised Access to Other
Computers or Networks
Any attempt to access illegally or without authorisation any
computers, accounts or networks
belonging to a third party or attempting
to circumvent or penetrate security
measures which are in place to prevent
unauthorised access to aforementioned.

Background Running Programs
The use of any background program which may interfere with
normal server operation. Pickaweb
shall be the sole arbitor of what
constitutes a violation of this
policy.

Distribution of Internet Viruses, Worms,
Trojan Horses or Other Destructive
Activities
Distribution of information regarding the creation of and sending
of Internet Viruses, Worms, Trojan
Horses or Other Destructive Activities.
Also activities that disrupt the
use of or interfere with the ability
of others to effectively use the
network or any other connected network,
computer, system or service.

Facilitating any Violation of this AUP
Advertising, transmitting or any attempt to promote means to
violate this AUP.

Other Illegal Activities
Engaging in activities that are deemed to be illegal and which
include, but are not limited to
credit card fraud schemes, pirate
software and pyramid schemes.
·
Other Activities
Engaging in any activities which Pickaweb deems to be harmful
to its clients, reputation, goodwill
or customer relations.
