SEO vs Pay per Click – Cost vs Results
Previously we looked at the keyword competition & now we need to consider SEO vs pay per click to see which delivers the best value for money in lower competition keywords. In the video I show you how to do this in 3 easy steps.

In the first instance we need to understand how much our keywords would cost if we were to go down the pay per click route.

Then we can see how much competition there is in the pay per click listings for that keyword.
SEO vs Pay per Click step 3 – summarise the results
All we need to do then is to summarise the results & compare them in a spreadsheet.
It is worth pointing out that in the video I have performed a “broad” search in the Google keyword tool. This will give a higher result than if you perform an “exact” search. If you want to consider the best & worst cases you can include the traffic for exact searches on your spreadsheet too but you will usually find that you will get a favourable comparison for seo vs pay per click.
