We recently moved our company website to Pickaweb, and have been delighted with the service and performance and the very reasonable cost.

We generated our website using Apple's iWeb application, which if a little limiting in fancy feature, at least provides an easy way to generate attractive and consistent results.

iWeb can directly upload to the Pickaweb via FTP and this means that keeping our site up to date is as easy as editing a local document.

The tools offered are comprehensive and easy to use via the cpanel interface. We make use of CGI, email, and FTP hosting.

We are doing a whole lot more with Pickaweb and for a whole lot less money!

The final clincher though has been pickawebs excellent online chat technical support. Instant access to technical staff.

As a young start up sole trader dealing with home PC Repairs in Bristol (www.rnr-it.co.uk) their website creation wizard (RV Site Builder) proved invaluable for getting my web presence as quick as possible, something that I deemed very important. Its ease of use was second to none, and allowed me to get my initial site up within hours of registering.

Not only do they provide easy creation and customisation of your pages, you have the option of incorporating Blogs, shopping carts and many other features with just a few clicks of the mouse, so for a first timer who's never created a webpage before your on to a winner. If by chance you do experience problems their support is extremely helpful and are contactable wither by phone, email or my personal favourite the web chat direct from there home page.

If you don't wish to use these tools to create your site, and want to create layouts yourself a full supplement of server side support is available, FTP, PHP, MYSQL, perl, FrontPage extensions the list really does go on so I wont bore you by mentioning them all here.

Full FTP access is provided you can even create different FTP accounts with different home folders. I found this feature very helpful and have set myself up with a FTP account for my test site, which makes uploading my new web pages easy and allows me to test them prior to putting them live. My test account is also easily accessible on the web thanks to Pickaweb allowing me to set up unlimited sub domains.

With Pickawebs highly detailed visitor stats programme, which in my opinion is much more detailed then Google analytics, and much easier to use is it does not rely on additional code to be added to your pages I am able to see how many visitors my site gets along with many useful pieces of information, that will most like prove invaluable to you as a business owner.

With the above in mind I would happily recommend Pickaweb to anyone, not only do they offer excellent services with friendly customer service but they are inexpensive also! How much better can it get?

As we were keen to keep overheads down in the initial set up of our company Pickaweb offered the ideal solution as they offered competitive packages and also the option to design and create our own web page without going to costly web design companies. We used Rv SiteBuilder, before setting up our company our IT knowledge a great deal more limited than it is now and I was concerned that we would struggle to design and build our own web page and make it look professional, however the web building package we used initially was extremely user friendly and the online tutorials offered by Pickaweb made it even easier. It turned out the hardest part of the process was what information we wanted to include on our pages!

After we set up the web site I used their Control Panel option regularly to review our stats for numbers of hits and visits to each page of our web site which I found extremely useful, I also used the control panel to manage my email accounts.

Any time I had a technical issue which was very rare Pickaweb's technical support was easy, fast and efficient and kept me up to date with the status of the solution to my problem at every stage.

Anyway, here is my experience with Pickaweb provider.

I am an individual user who loves to write articles and share my knowledge to the world. Therefore, I chose Pickaweb! This is because, they are fast, robust, reliable and stable.

They also have different “hosting packages”. Nevertheless, I am only using “Webmaster Plan” package (as a bundle).

The reason, why I chose this package?

Its the server – capacity and data transfer! Its absolutely massive and secure!!

With all these big server capacity, there is also a big list with many features! But, the best thing about this package, I got “Shared SSL, Firewall protection and 24/7 monitoring!”

Oh my... it’s incredible!

Secondly, I am a Cpanel - power user. Nevertheless, when I first join Pickaweb, I was like, frozen.

The big reason, they provided me this engine and it’s like... I am walking into a hotel with a swipe card.

When I logged on, I can manage my SQL Database, park a domain; protect my website from spammers and abusive users / surfer...

All I can say: The lists are Big! Bigger than “GoDaddy” hosting!!

The most used features are file manager, SQL admin manager and the backup manager. Without these, I cannot organize, install or backup my Wordpress articles.

I am glad that Pickaweb supports Cpanel., and the layouts is easy to navigate. Also, for those who doesn’t know how to install: Drupal, Geeklog, Mambo Open Source, PHP-Nuke, phpWCMS, phpWebSite, Post-Nuke, Siteframe and many more. All you have to do is click on “Fantastico De Luxe,” then let it install your favorite bundle!

Easy as playing golf!

Finally, the staff, phone support and live chat are just…utterly…AMAZING! The services is like a 5 star hotel, similar to Sheraton Hotel!!

Believe me... they are like amazing! Seriously amazing!!

When I was hosting for nearly 8 months, or something like that, I would like to have “mod_deflate.c” enabled. So, I contacted the support centre and asked them if they can install it for me.

I also told them that I would pay extra.

My goodness... they didn’t argued. They told me straight, that they will install “mod_deflate.c” for FREE! *shocked*

But, don’t just hold there! They also moved my entire data, files and everything, straight into another server!! I was like... Uhhh... Speechless

£65 Webmaster bundle + free “mod_deflate.c” installation (free of charge) + transported to a new server (less than a day to complete) + great live support + Cpanel + a pile of scripts, “Fantastico De Luxe”, and more... I am out of breath already…

Three days ago or four, I think. I asked one of the staff to change my Wordpress SQL password. They just zapped through with a couple of questions and details, and then, it was done.

In conclusion, the person who changed my sql password, the entire process is fast…

To wrap this all up... I love the features in Cpanel. You can edit individual files (online), modify the codes and compress multiple files.

That is all!

If any of you who is planning to purchase a hosting package, please register yourself with Pickaweb. You will not be disappointed!

Trust me... there is many things to keep you occupy when you are with Pickaweb.
