FTP
uploading with CuteFTP:
Download

Open the programme. By default CuteFTP opens Site
Manager.
- Click
on the New button on the lower left.
- On
the site name, type in Network OS.
- On
host address type in for example www.yourdomainname.com
type in your username and password and then click
Connect.
- Once
connected, you will see two windows, on the left handside
are the files on your hard drive, on the right handside
are the files on your hosting space. You have to move
your files to the public_html directory.
- To
upload files, simply drag and drop them from the
left window to the right window.
Make
sure that your main page is called index.html so that
it replaces the place holder on your hosting space.

with WS_FTP:
Download

Open the programme.
- Click
on the New button and fill in the required
fields.
- Profile
name for example www.yourdomain.com
- Host
name address www.yourdomain.com
- Host
type automatic detect, username and password. Click
ok to connect.
- Once
connected, you will see two windows, on the left handside
are the files on your hard drive, on the right handside
are the files on your hosting space.
- To
upload files, drag and drop them from the left
window to the right window. You
have to move your files to the public_html directory.
- Make
sure that your main page is called http://www.pickaweb.co.uk
so that it replaces the place holder on your hosting
space.
