As you get more & more customers you may find that you want to upgrade to a VPS or maybe even a dedicated server. This will give you several big advantages. Firstly you do not have to use the “standard” hosting set by the hosting company.
You can set the limits on things like emails sent per hour, etc.. Also you may want certain versions of software & this option gives you as much control as you want. Also, power – you get to choose how much RAM you can use so that you give your clients a lot more bang for their buck.
You are in full control but you would have to install your own hosting control panel software.
The disadvantage would be that if you get stuck or need any help with your customers sites you would need to sort the issues out yourself. Having the support of your hosting company and working together as a team can make a difference to the success of reselling hosting services.
