It is not Pickaweb’s Policy to set domains to auto renew. However domains can be set to auto renew via the Billing.
Please note that if your domain name is set to auto renew then the domain will be renewed & Pickaweb can not issue a refund as we will have renewed the domain on your behalf in good faith with the relevant domain registry.
Domain renewal reminders will continue to be sent up until the expiry date even if you select the auto renew feature. Also if your card details are not up to date the renewal will not apply. In these instances it would just be necessary to login to your billing area & make payment via the Invoice. You will be notified of an overdue invoice by email in such cases.
Please note that .eu domains MUST be renewed before the expiry date to avoid a Registry Quarantine Fee being paid.
You can set your domain name to Auto Renew via your Client Area.
There is a forgotten password feature that will email you the login details to the email address that we have on record – if you do not receive them please notify us by return email & we can verify for you.
When you are logged in, please select “My Domains”, then select the domain that you wish to renew from the list & select “Manage Domain”. You will then be taken to a page where you can set the Auto Renew status to Enabled.
*Please note that “Autorenew” for domain name registration renewal will not work if the domain is set to pay via “Paypal”. It will only create an invoice but payment will not be processed. Autorenew will only work if the payment method is set to pay via “credit/debit card”.
