This feature allows you to change passwords for a database user. As this feature does not require the old password, this can be useful if a password is compromised or forgotten.

To change the user password, follow these steps –

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Select option “MySQL databases” under tab “Databases”.
3. Select the user from the MySQL User list.
4. Enter a new password in the Password field.
Remember to choose a secure password.
You may also use the Password Generator by clicking Generate Password.
5. Retype the password in the Password Again field.
6. Click Change Password.

That’s how you can change a MySQL user password.
