iPhone users can configure email accounts in a couple of minutes. If you want email account configuration done on your iPhone, follow the steps given below.

1. Press the Settings icon on your Dashboard.
2. Select Mail >>Contacts >>Calendars.
3. Select Add Account.
4. For account type choose Other.
5. Enter the mail account information:

> Name: the name of your mail user
> Address: your mail address (e.g. [email protected])
> Password: the password for your email account
> Description: a short description of your mail account (e.g. John’s Mail)

6. Press Save.
7. Select the type of incominmail  server – POP.
8. Enter the Incoming Mail Server details:

> Host Name: the mail server address (e.g. mail.domainname.com)
> User Name: the mail account (e.g. [email protected])
> Password: the password for the above mail address

9. Enter the Outgoing Mail Server details:

> Host Name: the mail server address (e.g. mail.domainname.com)
> User Name: the mail account (e.g. [email protected])
> Password: the password for the above mail address

10. Press Save.
11. Choose Yes when you get a message saying “Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?” The Advanced mail settings will be displayed. You can leave these settings to their default values.
