The video tutorial walks you through the steps required to create a MySQL database in cPanel.

Apart from creating a database using the MySQL Database Wizard, you can also get this task done via the MySQL Databases tool available in your web hosting cPanel. Depending on the type of hosting plan you have bought, you can create many databases for your specific requirements. If your current hosting plan doesn’t allow you to create multiple databases, you may need to upgrade it quickly.

To create a MySQL database, follow these steps –

1. Log in to your cPanel.
2. Navigate to the Databases category.
3. Click on the MySQL Databases icon.
4. Enter a name for the new database.
5. Click the Create Database button.

You’ve successfully created a MySQL database in cPanel. If you go back to the previous page, you’ll see the new database listed under Current Databases section at the bottom.
