Every hosting account that you create for your customers comes along with an allotted bandwidth, which refers to the quantity of information transferred to and from your server. S
ince different types of content require different bandwidth quota, you can set the limit as per specific usage requirements. From within your WHM, you can get it done easily.
It’s also important to note that WHM already allots a bandwidth limit for each hosting account you create. When the set bandwidth limit for an account exceeds, the account stops working. To have it functioning again, you either have to reset the limit or increase it.
Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to limit bandwidth usage –
1. Log in to your WHM interface.
2. Click on the Account Functions icon.
3. Click on the Limit Bandwidth Usage icon.
4. Select an account.
5. Click the Limit button.
6. Reset or increase the bandwidth limit as required.
7. Click the Change button.
You’ve successfully changed the bandwidth limit for the selected hosting account in your reseller plan.
