This video will show you to to manage DNS zones in WHM.

You can easily manage DNS zones within WHM using the DNS Functions option.

Follow the following steps to make changes to DNS –

1. Log in to your WHM interface.
2. Click on the DNS Functions icon.
3. Click on the Add a DNS Zone sub-icon.

[Warning: From here, you can easily add DNS zones. But don’t do anything unless you know exactly what you’re doing.]

4. Click on the Delete a DNS Zone link in the left navigation.
5. Select the account for which you want to delete the DNS zone.
6. Click the Delete button.

[Warning: Clicking this button will delete the DNS zone for the selected account. But don’t do anything unless you know exactly what you’re doing.]

7. Click on the Edit DNS Zone link in left navigation.
8. Select the account for which you want to edit the DNS zone.
9. Click the Edit button.

[Warning: From here, you can make the required modifications to DNS zones. But don’t do anything unless you know exactly what you’re doing.]

10. Click on the Edit MX Entry link in left navigation.
11. Select the account for which you want to edit the MX entry.
12. Click the Edit button.

[Here, you can specify a custom MX entry for customers who want to host emails on a different server. If this is something you want to do, follow the next steps below.]

13. Enter the other server’s IP address.
14. Click the Save button.

That’s how you can manage the DNS zones in WHM.
