This error happens as a result of migration or copying files from a remote location etc. This error as it states is because you don’t have permission to modify or delete files. Every cPanel account is associated with a Linux user and only the files and folders in the ownership of that Linux user can be modified or deleted via cPanel >> File Manager or via FTP.

Often when you move files from a remote location the ownership of files are not set correctly so the Linux user associated with your cPanel account is unable to access the files. So you need to change the ownership of these files.

This can only be done by administrator user which only we have.
