In this video tutorial, we show you how to set up a default email address in cPanel so that all unrouted emails are not lost.

The default email address or the catch-all email address is the one to which all unrouted emails will go. When someone types your email account at your domain incorrectly, setting up your default address in the cPanel will forward their emails to your default email.

Follow these steps to set up your default email –

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the Main section, click on the Default Address icon.
3. On the next page, select the domain (if you have multiple domains) for which you’d like to set up a default email address.
4. Check the Forward to Email Address radio button.
5. Enter the default email address where unrouted emails will be forwarded.
6. Click the Change button.
