If you want to uncheck leave messages on server for various mail clients, follow the steps given below for each of them.

1) Outlook Express 4, 5 and 6

Open Outlook Express.
Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts.
Click the Mail Tab and click once on the Expedient Email Account in the account window to highlight it, then click the Properties button.
In the Account Properties, click the Advanced Tab.
Remove the check from “Leave a copy of messages on server”.
Click OK and OK. Click the Close button on the Accounts window.

2) Outlook 2000

Open Outlook 2000.
Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts.
Click the Mail Tab and click once on the Expedient Email Account in the account window to highlight it, then click the Properties button.
In the Account Properties, click the Advanced Tab.
Remove the check from “Leave a copy of messages on server”.
Click OK and OK. Click the Close button on the Accounts window.

3) Internet Mail

Open Internet Mail.
Click Mail in the file menu and select Options.
Click the Server Tab.
On the Server Tab, click the Advanced Settings… button.
Remove the check from “Leave a copy of messages on server”.
Click OK.

4) Macintosh – Outlook Express 4 and 4.5

Open Outlook Express.
Click Preferences in the file menu.
Expand Accounts by clicking on the right-facing triangle and select E-mail.
Click the Advanced button.
Remove the check from “Leave a copy of messages on server”.
Click OK.

5) Outlook Express 5

Open Outlook Express.
Click Tools in the file menu and select Accounts.
On the Mail Tab, select the Expedient Mail Account and click Edit.
Click the Options Tab.
Remove the check from “Leave a copy of messages on server”.
Click OK.
