This article is about how you can configure the Windows Live Mail in your computer. Please follow the steps below to configure the Windows live mail client.

1. Open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.
2. In the main window, click the Tools menu, and then click Accounts.
3. Click Add.
4. Click E‑mail Account, click Next, and then follow the instructions.

Now complete the following fields with your personal information as shown below.

Email address : Your email address (One that you are configuring).
Password : Password for the above email account.
Display name : The name to be displayed in place of your account.

Please configure the mail server details as follows.

My incoming mail server is a POP server (select the value “POP” from the drop down list)
Incoming mail server :mail.domainname or IP
Port :110
Leave the SSL option unchecked.
Outgoing mail server : mail .domainname or IP
Port :25 or 26
Leave the SSL option unchecked.

5. Then press next to proceed to the next step.
6. Click the finish button
